Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA) announces a search for an Executive Director.

WSYSA is a 501(c)(3) organization, a state association member of the United States Federation (US Soccer) and the United States Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer).
 
WSYSA is the seventh largest member of US Youth Soccer. It is the governing body and statewide program service provider for 39 member associations which together register over 120,000 youth players and 16,000 adult volunteers annually. WSYSA currently employs a staff of 11 including a Director of Operations and a Coaching Director. Its office is located in Federal Way, Washington.
 
The Executive Director is expected to work with and support the board of directors, the policy body of WSYSA. The board of directors consists of a President, executive board (7 members) and seven commissioners, who represent the membership proportionally. The President and executive board are elected statewide and are responsible for conducting the business and administering the affairs of WSYSA.
 
Position Responsibilities:
·  Develop and maintain working relations with both member associations and affiliates
·  Government, business and community relations
·  Financial planning and grant writing
·  Strategic planning and policy development
·  Program diversification projects

The ED is the senior executive position at WSYSA who is responsible for the overall management and execution of the directives of the BOD.
 
Full Time Salaried Position, Compensation is variable based on experience and qualifications.  Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits provided.
 
Position Requirements:
·  College degree preferred
·  Experience in administration of youth or amateur athletics
·  Finance and budgeting experience
·  Public relations
·  Public speaking
·  Governmental relations
