Executive Director
Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA)


Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA) announces a search for an Executive Director.
WSYSA is a 501(c)(3) organization, a state association member of the United States Federation (US Soccer) and the United States Youth Soccer Association (US Youth Soccer).
 
WSYSA is the seventh largest member of US Youth Soccer. It is the governing body and statewide program service provider for 39 member associations which together register over 120,000 youth players and 16,000 adult volunteers annually. WSYSA currently employs a staff of 11 including a Director of Operations and a Coaching Director. Its office is located in Federal Way, Washington.

Development Coach
Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association


As a full-time coach for the state association, this position is responsible for aiding in coach and player development throughout a region of the state. This person teaches licensure courses and other coaching courses, coaches in ODP, conducts outreach programs, writes curriculums, aids in the development of new programs, and serves clubs and town organizations in order to promote the game and cultivate the soccer culture in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate should be familiar with coaching/directing at the club level, as well as coaching advanced players. He/she should have knowledge of both recreational and elite players and have experience educating coaches. Application deadline is August 25th, 2004. Assistant Director of Coaching Education

This position in US Youth Soccer will be responsible for the implementation of coaching education programs to raise the overall standard of play within the United States, with a focus on US Youth Soccer’s core members; the recreational player and coach. The candidate for this position will create and implement coaching education programs to meet the specific and varied demands of all US Youth Soccer participants and provide unparalleled service for the enhancement of these programs at the state, regional, and national levels.

Director of Coaching
Arkansas State Soccer Association


Arkansas State Soccer Association seeks a Director of Coaching. This position is responsible for the implementation of player development programs, coaching education, and the Olympic Development Program.  ASSA is searching for a candidate who is energetic and willing to learn and grow in conjunction with the state association.
 
Candidates should possess or be in the process of obtaining: USSF "A" License and the USSF National Youth License.  Coaching experience with youth, teaching ability, proven leadership qualities, organizational and communication skills, and have experience working with volunteers.

Executive Director
Heartland Soccer Association - Overland Park, Kansas


Newly created Executive Director role to lead and professionally manage the largest soccer league in the state of Kansas. This association was created 30 years ago to promote, coordinate, and administer the game of soccer for youth. Affiliated with US Youth Soccer, it has 600 teams and nearly 9,000 players involved in its recreational and competitive programs ranging from U-8 to U-19. Anticipated growth is expected to continue at 3-7% annually.

Director of Coaching and Player Development

Maryland State Youth Soccer Association seeks a Director of Coaching and Player Development. This Full-Time position will oversee and develop Maryland's Player Development Curriculum, Olympic Development Program, district development program, coaching education, and be the liaison with MSYSA's districts and leagues.
 
Candidates should possess: USSF "A" or "B" License, NSCAA Advanced License, USSF National Youth License, Extensive coaching experience with youth knowledge, teaching ability, proven leadership qualities, oral and written communication skills, and have experience working with volunteers.
